WISHLIST # 2: ABRIL / APRIL WISHLIST

Ok, prepárense, porque estoy extremadamente emocionada con esta wishlist. Porque no son cosas que me gustan o que quiero, son cosas que amo y necesito. Sí, en ese nivel estoy.

Ok, get ready, because I’m extremely excited about this wishlist. Because they’re not things that I just like or want, they are things that I love and need. Yeah, I’m on that level.

Para empezar, el aceite Olio Lusso de Linda Rodan me fascinó desde su descripción. Escuché de él por primera vez en el podcast de Garance Doré, que pueden escuchar acá (háganlo, es muy bueno), donde entrevistaba a la mismísima creadora. Resulta que es una mezcla de 11 aceites que ella hizo para sí misma, pero fue tan bueno que empezó a venderlo. Yo quiero algo así. Y al verla luego en fotos y entrevistas, debo decir que es una señora con sus años (67), pero exhubera una vitalidad y juventud que me hace pensar que ese aceite facial es el elixir de la juventud.

For starters, the Olio Lusso facial oil by Linda Rodin fascinated me since the beginning. I heard of it first in a podcast by Garance Doré, which you can listen to here (do it, it’s amazing), where she interviewed the creator of it, Rodin. It turns out it’s a blend of 11 different oils that she made first for herself, but it was so popular she started selling it. I definetly want something like that. And seeing her later in photos and interviews, I must say she has her years (67), but she still has a great vitality and freshness, it makes me think that oil is the elixir of youth.

En otro de los mismos podcasts (tengo una obsesión, lo sé, pero este también es buenísimo), Garance conversa con Joan Juliet Buck, ex editora en jefe de Vogue París. No voy a spoilear, pero en él, Buck habla de su libro ‘El precio de la ilusión’, en el que narra su vida desde la tranquila California hasta la locura de Francia. Y si sólo su entrevista me encantó, no puedo esperar a leerla.

Las botas blancas de Topshop simplemente me parecen perfectas y elegantes. Punto Final. El EP de La La Land, absolutamente necesario en mi vida. Un poco de ‘City of Stars’ abajo para que se sientan como yo ahora, y la cinematografía, alabemos a Linus Sandgreen. El pulidor facial de French Girl me tuvo desde el nombre de su marca. No se preocupen, investigué y tiene muy buenas reseñas. Por otro lado, La vie este belle es una de esas fragancias que me han estado siguiendo desde años atrás, y es uno de esos olores que me recuerdan a perfección, a flores y a palacios. Hace unos meses me compré el rollerball como para probarlo, y cada vez que me lo pongo me voy a un lugar feliz. Así que es hora de comprar el real deal.

In another one of the same podcast series (I have an obsesion, I know, but this one is also reaaaally good), Garance talks with Joan Juliet Buck, ex editor in chief of Vogue Paris. I’m not gonna spoil anything, but it in, Buck speaks about her new book, ‘The Price of Illusion’, in which she narrates her life since the chill and quiet Callifornia until the crazy years in France. And if only her interview amazed me, I can’t wait to read her!

The white Topshop boots are simply perfect and elegant for me. Point made. The La La Land EP, absolutely necessary in my life. A little bit of ‘City of Stars’ down for you to be in my mood right now, and the cinematography, all hail Linus Sandgreen. The French Girl facial polish had me at the name of the brand itself. Don’t worry, I made my research, it has great reviews. On another side, the La vie este belle perfume is one of those fragances that have been following me for years, and it’s one of those smells that remind of perfection, palaces and flowers. I bought the rollerball version a few months ago to try it, and everytime I put it on, I go to a happy place. So it’s time to get the real deal.

El saco verde de Topshop me parece que no necesita explicación. Además, abajo linkearé un video de una vlogger en el que habla maravillosamente de él. Hace tiempo que quiero uno así, de esa textura, y me parece que el color verde es un detalle que eleva la pieza hermosamente. Últimamente tengo una obsesión con pijamas bonitos, increíblemente bonitos. Pijamas que me hagan sentir que despierto en París, que hay croissants en el horno y mi vida está hecha. Ese pijama de Topshop es uno de esos pijamas.

Atención, que lentes de sol Dolce Gabbana han sido mi sueño desde tiempos inmesurables. Y ese par oversized es solo la perfección hecha lentes. Perfectos para pasear por Nueva York al medio día o hacer ir al supermercado por peras. Y esa cartera Chloe complementa perfectamente a los lentes. Los sueños están hechos de Chloe y Dolce Gabbana.

Moviéndonos un poco hacia maquillaje, Chanel es un clásico. Y este color metálico súper pigmentado es perfecto tanto para noches de verano como las de invierno. Y finalmente, las velas son mi elemento decorativo favorito. Tengo otra también de Voluspa y déjenme decirles que huelen exquisitamente delicioso, y el envase es perfecto. No hay fallo en estas preciosuras.

The green Topshop coat, I believe, needs no explanation. I’m linking down below a video of an english vlogger who talks wonderfully about it. I have been wanting one like that for ages now, with that precise texture, and I think the green color is such marveloues element that elevates the piece beautifully. Also, I have been having this obsession with pajamas, incredibly beautiful pajamas. Pajamas that make me feel like I’m waking up in Paris, like there are croissants in the oven and everything is right. Those Topshop pajamas are one of those.

Attention now, please! Because Dolce Gabbana sunglasses have been my dream since unmeasurable times. And that oversized pair are perfection made sunglasses. Perfect to stroll around New York at midday or just go to the supermarket for pears. And that Chloe bag, ugh, just complements it perfectly. Dreams are made from Chloe and Dolce Gabbana.

Moving on to makeup, Chanel is just a classic. And this mettalic and super pigmented color is perfect for summer and winter nights. And days. And finally, candles are my favorite decorative element, and the jar is simply perfect. There is no failing in these beauties.
