Wishlist #3: Mayo

Ya es quincena del mes, lo que significa, ¡otra wishlist! So it’s the middle of the month, which means, another wishlist! (English below)
Para empezar, soy una autodeclarada amante del cuidado de la piel, ¿está bien? Lo acepto. Lo acepto y así doy inicio a mi lista de este mes, porque tengo cosas que decir. Primero, estoy en busca del perfecto suero facial, y según lo que he leído, Klairs es uno potencial. Su descripción dice que sirve para energizar y rejuvenecer la piel con vitamina C, así que definitivamente tenía que estar en mi lista. Aparte de eso, lo irónico, es que a fin de cuentas realmente no sé al 100% qué tipo de piel tengo. Pero lo que sé, es que el toner que uso ahora es bueno, pero a veces siento que irrita un poco mi piel. Así que pienso que el agua de rosas de Burt’s Bees es la solución.
Y ya sé que en Lima el verano ya se está yendo, pero los expertos dicen que es importante usar bloqueador todo el año, ¿cierto? O tal vez eso es lo que me digo a mí misma por querer esto mientras me despido del sol. Es que es tan bello y perfecto, y Glossier siempre le da en el blanco en todos sus productos. ¿Aceptarán practicantes? Lush es otra de mis marcas favoritas, y el hecho de que sea una empresa limpia y natural, me hace amarla mucho más. El exfoliante de labios me es perfecto, especialmente en estos meses que el clima cambia y es necesario refrescarse. Aquí un videito explicando cómo se hacen estas bellezas, que realmente vale la pena ver (incluye el manjar de los dioses, aka azúcar):
Nunca he estado muy interesada en la belleza coreana, conocida como K-Beauty más comúnmente. Pero esta botella de Beauty Water promete ser un gentil tonificante para todo tipo de piel tiene tantas buenas reseñas, y la he visto en tantos canales de YouTube, que ha dejado su huella en mí. Sobre el Brain Dust de Moon Juice, esta es una marca que siempre me ha interesado, especialmente si promete que mi cerebro funcione mejor y me mantenga alerta. Mis ojeras lo merecen. El rimmel es realmente la única pieza notable de maquillaje que me pongo cada día, y el Better Than Sex de Too Faced tiene un culto que lo adora, así que estoy emocionadísima por probarlo.
Terminando con el área de belleza, ‘Bloom' es el libro de una de mis vloggers favoritas, Estée Lalonde. Y si esos pedazos de papel coloridos serán igual de interesantes y entretenidos que sus videos, no cabe duda que lo leeré unas 500 mil veces. Y la taza, bueno, amo las tazas de por sí, pero esa combinación de colores me jaló el ojo desde que lo vi. ¿Crees en el amor a primera vista? Pues ahora, yo sí.
Entrando en la sección de ropa, nunca fui la mayor fanática de los vestidos, especialmente los que tienen vuelos y cositas así. Pero apenas vi este vestido me imaginé caminando por las calles de Grecia, bajo el sol en Italia, o tomando un café en París. Y creo que es exactamente ese tipo de ropa, la que te saca de tu realidad, la que vale la pena. Y el saco Duster de Topshop, no siento que haya nada más inglés que eso. E inglés es elegante. Inglés es estilizado. Inglés es perfecto. Y solo miren el perfecto color que tiene.
En fin, el último item del mes es mi más grande obsesión, y mi definitivo siguiente objetivo: loafers sin espalda. Siento que ya hablé bastante de ellos en este post, así que para concluir, los amo, y no me detendré hasta tener un par.

For starters, I am a self-declared skincare lover, okay? I admit it. I admit it and therefore start this list, for I have things to say. First of all, I am currently looking for the perfect serum, and according to what I’ve been reading, this Klairs one is a very good option. It’s description says it is used to energize and rejuvenate the skin with vitamin C, so it definetly made the cut. Although, the ironic thing is that I am not 100% certain of my skin type. What I do know, is that the toner I’m using now is good, but it sometimes irritates my skin. So I think the Burt’s Bees one is the solution for that.
And I know that summer in Lima is about to go, but experts say it’s important to wear sunscreen all reay long, right? Or maybe that’s what I tell myself for wanting this while the sun goes by. It’s just so beautiful and perfect, and Glossier always nails it. Do you think they take interns? Lush is also an amazing brand, and the fact that they are so clean and natural makes me love it so much more. This lip exfoliator is perfect, especially these weeks that the climate is changing and I feel like I need to refresh.
For some reason I’ve never been really interested in K-Beauty, but this Son & Park bottle has been all around lately. It promises to be a gentle toner for all skin tyes, and it’s been used and reviewed so much around the YouTube world, that it definetly made me curious. Moon Juice's brain Dust promieses to make my brain work better and keep me awake longer. My undereyebags deserve it. Mascara es actually the only notable piece of makeup that I wear regularly, and the Better Than Sex has a cult of its own. If that didn’t convince me, nothing else would.
Entering now another area, ‘Bloom’ is a book written by one of my favorite bloggers, Estée Lalonde. And if those paper pieces are will be equally as entertaining and interesting as her videos, I will probably read it about 500 thousand times. And the mug, well, I have an eternal love for mugs. But this color combination is just gorgeous, and the word ‘Babe’ just feels so cool. And I think I would feel so cool drinking from it every morning. Do you believe in love at first sight? Now I do.
Getting into the clothing section, I was never a big fan of dresses, specially the ones that have ruffles and all that. But as soon as I saw this beautiful black dress I instantly imagined myself walking through the streets in Greece, under the sun in Italy, or having coffee in Paris. And I believe that is exactly the kind of clothes that are worth it, the ones that transport you to another reality. And the Topshop Duster Coat, I don’t think there’s anything English-er than that. And English is elegant. English is stylish. English is perfect. And I mean, just look at that color.
And the last piece this month is my current biggest obsession, and my definite next target: backless loafers. I’m not gonna go batshit on this one because I’ve already drooled over them in this post, so to conclude, I love them, and nothing will stop me from having them.
